Ford questions whether ‘Size does matter’

Ford has released a creative concept based on a new sub-compact car called Ford Start. Ford creators have been discussing whether size matters and want the small car to become as desirable as other full-sized vehicles already available.

Designed specifically for urban city living such as driving through London, the swift Ford Start has taken inspiration from the smooth lines of the Porsche 356 Speedster and the sporty Alfa Romeo Zagato SZ.

Ford creative wanted to slice through each layer of inspiration in order to give meaning and substance to each detail and have created a full-bodied, curvaceous structure built from a hybrid of recyclable aluminium and steel.

Comprising a three cylinder 1.0 litre Eco-Boost engine, the new Ford car is said to have as much power as a four cylinder 1.6 litre engine but with an emission output that is far less.

The new Start hasn’t been specified for release or production just yet but the technologies will

rival other small cars such as MINI Cooper and the Fiat 500 due to its customisable features and MyFord Mobile Concept- an app driven, smartphone-inspired centre console interface.

This creative concept is great for both City living and automakers Ford, London and other cities would be the perfect place to test drive these fine vehicles, if and when they are released, of course.
